Crazy Mom and Weird Gramz - That's me!

My daughter says I'm the crazy one! Yep, that is me! I asked my daughter what she means when she teases me about this and she says, "It was simply a statement about how we are lucky and blessed that you took care to love us for who we are and were...it was not a bad reference and really had NOTHING to do with a mental status...(your)funny, happy, FUN (ie sometimes crazy fun), willing to work out problems..."

It's like when BayLee and Cali tell me they love me, and then follow up with "your weird." It's an honor to be the 'weird" grammy and the "crazy" Mom.....and I mean that from the bottom of my heart.....I'm so blessed!

Early Morning Visitor

The jack rabbits are running rampid this morning out in the quarry. The sun is shining and it's warm outside, and they are seemingly loving the weather. While I was having my morning bible study, this little critter caught my attention from the corner of my eye. He was busy grooming himself in the sunlight and under the truck scales.

Crocheted Laprobe for Andrea's House

I made this laprobe this past few weeks. It was fairly easy because I used a N crochet hook and it is double and triple crocheted. I think this is one of those things your suppose to be able to make in a week-end, but my RSD arm isn't happy crocheting more than a row or two at a time, so I have to pace myself a little better. It took a lot more yarn than I expected it to. I think there is a total of 22 balls of Debbie Norville's Serenity Chunky Weight yarn by Premier Yarns. Andrea picked the yarn out herself, and I picked the pattern. I have enough yarn to make a patchwork type laprobe for her loveseat, so I am probably going to do that for her also. It was fun to do!!!

This is a geranium that I thought had died, but is starting to come back now that the weather is warmer. For Christmas my oldest daughter got me some paper white bulbs, and so I planted them in with the geraniums, and added the beautiful rocks that came with the bulbs. Look, they are starting to peak through and grow!!! Spring is definately in the air!

My Mistake - It's the Frog and the Princess!!!

Okay, so I am so wrong - Clovers new outfit has nothing to do with Tinkerbell....it's the outfit that the Princess wore in the Frog and the Princess movie! Girlz, I am so sorry! I just wasn't thinking. It doesn't matter, Clover loves the outfit...especially that crown of lily petals!!!
